Sample Schedule for the Home & Garden

9:30am- Free play

10:10am-  Grounding/Tuning in, Seasonal Song and Poetry Circle  (incl. drums, percussion, spanish and sign language)

10:30 am- Creative dream collective storymaking (writing/drawing)

10:50 am-  Earth connected living practice: gardening, feeding animals, gathering eggs, etc.

11:15 am- Creative cooking/traditional recipes using garden or wild ingredients

11:30am- Potluck Lunch (children share their contribution in spanish)

12:30pm- Seasonal Story (earth based/indigenous tales) and Art

1:00pm- Ancestral history/service projects

1:30pm- Quiet Sit/Heart centered journaling

1:45pm-Gratitude circle

TEACHERS:

Classes will be led by Sylvia Poareo,MSW and her children.  Sylvia has served as an earth-based spiritual counselor and mentor to families for over 20 years. She loves to help parents and children connect with nature, their hearts, spirits and imagination supporting conscious mothering, living and healing. (for more, see “Meet Sylvia”). As the daughter of a courageous Mexican mother, Spanish was her first language and she is eager to share its poetic beauty with others.

Her children have spent years thriving in nature connection, holistic farming, and ancestral wisdom and ways. They love to be with animals, experience aliveness and freedom, share all that they have learned, and play with other children.

Who: Children, ages 8-9yo 

When: Mondays and Fridays from 9:30am-1:30pm

Where: Private residence and local natural spaces in Ashland, Oregon

Contribution: $245 AND one volunteer day per child, per 4 weeks (structured and priced as a co-operative to build community!)
