So many have trusted me and it means the world to me. Because of your trust I have been able to distribute over $25,000 directly into the hands of undocumented and migrant families hardest hit by the Almeda Fires. And this is sadly just a drop in the bucket. I have more families referred to me everyday. I’m in this for the long haul and my gofundme is aimed at continuing this support especially around housing. Thanks to all of you, this week I’ve paid space rental for RV’s and put $ in the hands of families that had not accessed much else, who were found and referred by fire affected families. There is power in doing things in a community way.

Yesterday, I held space for a family and took them to Walmart for necessities. I also gave the youth $50 each to replace something lost. The youngest eagerly chose a car toy which he couldn’t wait to get home to open. As I was leaving, the teen said with maturity in a soft voice, “God bless you.” I don’t know how to convey how that breaks my heart. She doesn’t need to bless me. She deserves it and so much more.

I tell everyone, these funds are not mine, they come from and represent so many caring people who are thinking of them. And this brings tangible hope.
A beautiful filmmaker captured me sharing why I keep asking for help and my longer term vision of how I’m supporting families. Please SHARE♥️🙏♥️
